Long time no see

Some time has passed since myvery first post, and some major changes have taken place in my life. I’ve started working at IBM in June as an IT Specialist in the Global Technology Services division. I also enrolled in a MS in Cybersecurity. I know MS are not seen as something very useful in the infosec field because everything evolves extremely fast (SolarWinds hack for example), but for the HR offices in my country they are a +. I also got my hands on some certifications from the cybersec field.

eJPT Course & Exam

A journey of a thousand miles begins with one small step, and this was the first move of this ride I’ve embarked on. The course was perfectly planned for the pace of newbies to learn the most useful tools one by one. In my case, except one or two I already knew them . The videos and labs were also a plus, as they helped to understand the things from the slides. I spent like two weeks doing the course. For somebody who has more free time, it can be done in one week or less.

And now let’s talk about the exam. You have 72 hours to answer 20 questions about the assigment you get, and to pass you have to get at least 15 correct answers. You get a letter of engagement in which you get some info about the scope; just like in a…
