There are many jobs out there that match your skills and interests. It can be overwhelming to choose one! In fact, it’s not uncommon for job seekers to struggle with this decision. So how do you know if you should work for the Red Team or Blue Team? This blog post will help answer that question for you so your next career move is as easy as possible!

What is Red Team?

A red team is a group of people who are tasked with finding ways to make the blue team’s job easier. In other words, it’s a group of people who are trained in all aspects of security, including the use of tools and technology who are also educated in how to think like an attacker that tests the security of your network or application before you deploy it to production so that they can best protect your company’s assets.

What is Blue Team?

A blue team is a network defender. They try to stop attacks and protect their networks from being compromised. A blue team is made up of an organization or group that has been tasked with defending its network, often at all costs, from external threats like hackers. The role requires dedication and effort on behalf of its members who must take every precaution possible to keep their systems safe from attack (and sometimes even go so far as hiring external security firms).
